The Power Control Center (PCC) provides full control and remote power management of the observatory. We tried to include into this product a wide number of interesting and necessary solutions to control your remote observatory.

Features:

  • 2 channels for 220V (5A) with measurement and monitoring functions. Both channels are inverse (when PCC power is turned on, they can be either turned on or turned off by default).
  • 8 channels for 12V (5A) with measurement and monitoring functions. Each channel also includes protection (closure or opening contact groups) and inductive filter.
  • Total current sensor (up to 20A) for 12V electric bus with monitoring function.
  • 3 additional relays to control a third-party equipment. Two channels are inverse (when PCC power is turned on, they can be turned on or turned off by default).
  • Web-based management interface (IP) + control via GSM (through a text message). Local version of PCC web control (without Internet access) and GSM module disconnection if it is not needed.
  • 2 channels for temperature sensors with a monitoring function (each channel supports up to 4 sensors).
  • 1 channel for monitoring battery voltage.
  • Independent real-time clock with battery.
  • Independent memory to save the basic settings of the PCC.
  • Preservation of the state of the channels when the CPU is restarted or when the firmware is changed.
  • Integration with the well-known DC-3 Dreams observatory automation software - ACP Observatory Control.
  • Recording of the monitoring logs to an external server on the Internet with the function of disabling logging.
  • In case of failure of the main power supply 220V, a notification by both e-mail and a text message.
  • Automatic shutdown of the observatory in case of absence of the 220V, through a script on the astro-computer.

You can find detailed information on how to install PCC into your observatory, its settings and use, on the Support page.
